About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Host Home Caregiver to support adults living in host home settings. As a Host Home Caregiver, you will assist the Host Home Provider in delivering high-quality, person-centered care within the home.
This role allows you to make a meaningful difference each day by helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible.
What You’ll Do
As a Host Home Caregiver, your responsibilities include:
- Assisting individuals with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene)
- Supporting mobility and safe transfers
- Preparing meals or helping with feeding as needed
- Providing companionship, emotional support, and engagement
- Encouraging healthy routines and skill development
- Assisting with housekeeping tasks related to the individual’s care
- Providing medication reminders (non-medical)
- Assisting with community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes to the Host Home Provider or supervisor
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, respectful home environment

Requirements
To qualify for the role:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid ID
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift/assist clients safely (training provided)
- Reliable transportation
