We are seeking Host Home Providers to welcome an adult with developmental or intellectual disabilities into their home and provide daily support in a stable, caring, and family-like environment.
As a Host Home Provider, your home becomes a safe, nurturing space where a person can build independence, learn essential life skills, and thrive through consistent support and companionship.
What You’ll Do
As a Host Home Provider, your responsibilities may include:
- Offering a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home
- Providing daily living support (meals, hygiene, room care, routine building)
- Encouraging independence and skill development
- Supporting socialization and community activities
- Providing transportation to medical appointments, errands, or recreational outings
- Ensuring medication reminders and health monitoring per care plan
- Building a meaningful, respectful relationship with the individual
- Maintaining consistent communication with agency staff
- Upholding dignity, privacy, and respect at all times

- Patient, caring, and reliable
- Able to create a stable and positive home atmosphere
- Respectful toward individuals with disabilities
- Willing to work as part of a collaborative care team
- Organized, responsible, and committed to the wellbeing of the individual
- Open to training and ongoing guidance
Requirements
To qualify, you must:
- Be 21 years or older
- Own or rent a safe, well-maintained home
- Pass a background check
- Have reliable transportation
- Provide a private bedroom for the individual
- Complete required training (provided by the agency)
- Be able to follow care plans and document progress
- Demonstrate patience, professionalism, and compassion
Caregiving experience is helpful but not mandatory—full support and training are provided.
